Where are your pieces made?


All Afternoon knitwear is made here in the UK, in small batches, at a London-based studio that pays a living wage. Every piece is produced with care, avoiding overproduction and ensuring quality at every stage.

 

How do I know which size to choose?


You can find full sizing information in our Size Guide. If you’re unsure, feel free to email me, I’m always happy to help you find the right fit. Our images feature a size medium and me and my model Kenzie are a UK size 12.

 

 

How do I look after my knit?


Each piece comes with detailed care instructions, but you can also read our Care Guide for full information. The short version: hand wash in cool water, and remember that natural fibres don’t need washing often.




Isn't mohair itchy?

Sometimes! Low-quality mohair can feel itchy due to thicker, coarser fibres. Ours isn't itchy, it's made using the finer, silkier, higher-grade fibres which were chosen specifically for their softness and comfort.



Why is your knitwear more expensive than the high street?


Because it’s made to a different standard. We use high-quality, responsibly sourced natural fibres, pay people fairly, and produce in small batches, locally with attention to every detail. These choices cost more, but they also mean your knit will last much longer, so you truly get what you pay for.

 

 

How long will my order take to arrive?


Orders are shipped within 7 days, often sooner. It’s just me packing and posting, so I do my best to get everything out quickly. If you need something urgently, leave a note at checkout and I can probably get it sent same day or next day.

 

 

Do you ship internationally?


Yes, we ship worldwide.

 

 

What’s your returns policy?


We have a standard 28 day return policy, you can find all the details on our Delivery & Returns page.

 

 

Can I exchange for a different size?


We don’t offer exchanges for completely different products, for that you would need a return. But if you’d like the same product in a different size or colour, just email me at hello@afternoonknitwear.com and we’ll arrange it.

 

 

What if my piece arrives damaged?


We take care to pack every knit so it arrives in perfect condition. All parcels are insured, so if something happens in transit, email me with the details and we’ll find a way to put it right.
